One of the hardest things about having anxiety is realising you need help and then it's finding something/someone that can help you that you feel comfortable with. I know I struggle a lot with talking on the phone or talking face to face with people I don't know but over the last few years I've found a few places that can offer help:

- The Mental Health FoundationMind and Anxiety UK are amazing charities that can offer you support and information on where you can get help. They are there to help with people suffering from mental health issues so you know you're going to information that is guaranteed to help you.

- The NHS is always a good place to start, whether this is by speaking to your GP or just visiting their website to get more information about anxiety. It's also a great place to check over your symptoms and look into what steps to take next.

- 7 Cups is a great website if you're just looking for someone to listen, everyone you speak to goes through an online training course which basically advises them on how to speak to you. It's a great website if you don't feel confident to talk to someone face to face or you just need someone to listen to you.

- When looking on some anxiety website I came across Elefriends. It's just a website for people who need a little extra support. You can share your thoughts and feelings with people who are there to listen and communicate with you. A great place if you're not a fan of speaking to people face to face.

- Speaking to someone you trust can always be helpful, whether that's a parent, friend or teacher. They may not be able to give you the answers you need but just by talking you're getting out the thoughts and feelings that are weighing on your mind. Plus, just having someone listen to you is always helpful.

I know it's really hard to take the first steps into getting help but I really hope these places can offer you some help. I know I've used all of them over the last few years and found each of them helpful in different ways.
